Fred Sotelo. Head-of-Trends Entrepreneur. Cerveza XTECA Mexican American Lager
My guest is Fred Sotelo. He is easy going, cool guy with a lot of wisdom and an entrepreneurial mindset. Indeed, Fred is President and CEO of Tolteca Corp, an independent distribution, marketing, and logistics company, and Co-Founder of Cerveza XTECA, a Latino-owned Craft Beer and Coffee Company based in San Diego, CA. Cerveza XTECA Original, a Mexican American lager in 2018, was established. XTECA has become a craft beer success story in a crowded beer market while simultaneously working its way around retail off-site and on-site for large big-box retailers like Walmart, Barons Market to Mom-and-pop stores throughout the southern California footprint, including San Diego, Riverside, Los Angles, Santa Clara, San Francisco, and Imperial counties with market expansions planned into Arizona and Nevada.
Fred Sotelo has founded and successfully led different companies in diverse sectors over a 30-year business career. An entrepreneur often described as a head-of-trends, he credits his keen interest and curiosity in all things tech to his early business success, leading him to lead companies and projects in emerging technologies, including in the entertainment, production, manufacturing, distribution, and marketing sectors. If you want to learn golden nuggets about money, about being an entrepreneur, and much more, you must listen to the podcast interview.
